For long days i have been trying to make aircel Gprs faster. BUt this time i have found some tricks.
Most of the users are using Opera Mini. The Opera mini just make a cache of the requested page to its Server. By this it will show you the page from opera server.
Ie) Your request -> eg: m.myfreestuffs.tk ->forwarded to opera server -> Create cache page in opera server -> The page in your mobile is again rendered with the cached page from Opera Mini Server.
By this way Your request cannot be processed directly. Initially this techniques are very useful because opera cache age will reduce the page size to 30%.
eg) If u r loading 500kb page . Opera mini gives you the same page with all options as 40 Kb(approx..)
Ok whats now?.
So the opera mini users are increased. As traffic increases the quality and reliability also decreases..
